Semmle Core: this tool enables you to update the external data stored in a snapshot database from the data stored in the
updateExternalData tool to update the external data stored in a snapshot database from the data stored in the
external/data subdirectory of the snapshot directory without rebuilding the entire snapshot database. This is particularly useful when you are experimenting with importing external data into a snapshot database or importing snapshot metadata.
This tool is run from the command line as follows:
odasa updateExternalData [--verbose] [--verbosity <level>] [--project <path>] [--concurrent] [--earliest] [--latest] [--ram <memory>] [--delete-relations <file.rel>] <snapshot>
updateExternalData tool supports the following flags:
Optional, defines the location of the
Default: current directory.
|-||-||Optional, used in special cases where you need to allow more than one command to act on a single snapshot concurrently. This flag should not be used unless the support team have advised you to do so.|
Optional, use to update the oldest snapshot for the project configuration defined using the

All CSV files stored in the
external/data subdirectory of the snapshot directory are imported into the snapshot database, overwriting any existing external data stored in the snapshot.
